This Privacy Policy describes how My Crafty Personality LLC (“we” or “us”) and service providers acting on our behalf may collect, use, and share your information when you use our website (www.mycraftypersonality.com), any of our affiliate websites,  or any other services we offer (collectively, the “Services”).   This Privacy Policy also gives you choices about the collection and use of your information.

By using our Services or otherwise providing us with your personal information, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.  Depending on your activities when using our Services, we may ask you for express consent before collecting certain personal information through our Services.  We will ask you for that consent when and where it is needed.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT

Personal Information” generally means any information that identifies you as an individual, and any other information we associate with it.  We collect the following categories of information, from a few different sources:

1.    Profile information and other content you voluntarily provide to us, which may include:

  • Username and password.
  • Name, physical address, e-mail address, telephone number, billing and credit information if you make any purchases through use of the Services, and any other contact information you affirmatively provide to us when you sign up for any of our sweepstakes or contests. 
  • Any information you provide in communications with us, such as via e-mail, registration forms, open forums, virtual chats, written communications in hard copy, conferences or through social media. Note that you may not be able to opt out of certain Services-related e-mails.

2.       Information that is passively collected when you use the Services, such as by our web servers and by third party analytics tools we may use:

This information is used for the operation of the Services, to maintain quality of the services, and to provide general statistics regarding use of our websites.   • We  use certain cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to help us understand how you use our Services. The use of cookies is standard on the Internet. 4.       In addition to collecting Personal Information, we may collect information that does not identify you and is not associated with your Personal Information.  We may also de-identify information so it no longer identifies you.  We can aggregate and use such information to engage in marketing and other activities in a manner that protects our consumers since it does not use their Personal Information and is outside the scope of this Privacy Policy.

HOW WE MAY USE YOUR INFORMATION

We may use Personal Information as permitted by law to:

  • Operate our website and deliver the services requested by you;
  • Allow you to participate in polls, sweepstakes, instant win promotions, contests and other promotions and to administer these activities;

  • Promotional Device Sponsors:  Where permitted by law,  we may occasionally present a special promotion, such as a contest or sweepstakes, that is sponsored by a third party. To qualify for entry, we may ask you to provide personal information. If we plan to share the Personal Information requested from you with such sponsor(s), we will notify you on the webpage or in the correspondences through which this information is collected. To the extent that the promotion’s rules concerning the treatment of your Personal Information are stricter than this Privacy Policy, the promotion’s rules apply.
  • Other Third Parties: To third parties in connection with certain promotions or sweepstakes you may participate in; to the extent that the promotion’s rules concerning the treatment of your Personal Information are stricter than this Privacy Policy, the promotion’s rules shall prevail.

Your email address will not be used for any purpose other than what you have expressly authorized, nor will it be shared or disclosed to third parties, except, as described herein. 

We may use sociodemographic information to better design our websites and may share that information with our current or future advertisers or may be used for statistical purposes. For example we may inform an advertiser that a certain number of men or women have visited a certain section of our website or have filled out our registration form, however we do not disclose information to allow anyone to identify a specific individual. 

If you submit any Personal Information relating to other people in connection with the Services, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

OTHER WEB SITES AND SERVICES

Our Services may contain links to other websites, embedded content, or services that we do not own or operate.  When you click on a third party link, you will leave our website and be directed to the third-party’s site.  We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from the Services, including the information or content contained within them. Your browsing and interaction on any third-party website or service, including those that have a link on our Services, are subject to that third party’s own rules and policies, not ours. We are not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of our website.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION & DATA SECURITY

Although we implement reasonable administrative, physical and electronic security measures designed to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, we cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to or guarantee that this information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website.  When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol.  We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored Personal Information.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Depending on your settings or the privacy policies for social media and messaging services like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google or Twitter, you may give us permission to access information from those accounts or services.

If you voluntarily share or submit any information (e.g., name) or content (e.g., picture), or commentary (e.g., forums, message boards, chats) for posting to our website, or link it to any social media platforms, that post and any content or information associated with it may become available to the public.

CHILDREN UNDER THIRTEEN

We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such minors to disclose their Personal Information to us through use of the Services. HOW WE RESPOND TO “DO NOT TRACK” SIGNALS

We do not monitor or follow “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals, in part due to uncertainty and inconsistency regarding the DNT standard, and therefore handle all user information consistent with this Privacy Policy.

OPT –OUT & UNSUBSCRIBE

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

Shine the Light. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed personal information (as defined under that statute) of that California resident, for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the categories of personal information that was disclosed to them. We may revise and update this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion.  When we do, we will let you know by appropriate means such as by posting the revised policy on this page with a new “revised and posted” date at the top of this page.  Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective as of the “Last Updated” date, unless indicated otherwise, and your subsequent use of the Services constitutes agreement to the updated policy.
